KÜNS TLERISCHE STRATEGIEN ZUR DE-RADIKALISIERUNG AUF SOCIAL MEDIA: Workshop mit Caspar Weimann

Rechte Netzwerke nutzen soziale Medien und A lgorithmen als effiziente Werkzeuge, um eine rassistische, antifeministisc he, LGBTQIA+-feindliche Politik durchzusetzen und den gesamtgesellschaftli chen Diskurs Schritt für Schritt nach rechts zu verschieben. Right-wing networks use social media an d algorithms as efficient tools to implement racist, antifeminist, and ant i-LGBTQIA+ policies, gradually shifting the broader societal discourse to the right. Through social media, they have been able to establish the AfD as a powerful parliamentary arm and a permanent fixture of our party syste m, translating combative rhetoric into concrete political action for many years now.

In this workshop, we will examine social media from an ar tistic perspective as a societal stage: on one hand, it serves as the perf ect breeding ground for reductive, emotionally charged content and targete d radicalization; on the other, it remains one of the few spaces where the se dynamics can be effectively and strategically countered (and must be).
