Da wir im DIY-Kontext verwurzelt\nsind und eine ungefähre Vorstellung d avon haben\, wie die Dinge abseits vom\nabsurd entfesselten Kommerz sein k önnten\, haben wir uns entschieden\, dies mit\nunserer Liebe zu leidenscha ftlichem und rohem Screamo zu verbinden. Da wir im DIY-Kontext verw urzelt sind und eine ungefähre Vorstellung davon haben, wie die Dinge abse its vom absurd entfesselten Kommerz sein könnten, haben wir uns entschiede n, dies mit unserer Liebe zu leidenschaftlichem und rohem Screamo zu verbi nden. „This is going to hurt“… Soasta sphrenas entfesseln eine traurige und zugleich brutale Komplexität, die zw ischen düsteren, chaotischen, wegwalzenden, eruptiven und nihilistischen, (selbst) aufgebenden, fragilen, fast verstörend intimen Parts oszilliert.< /p>

Düsternis trifft auf Ekstase – ihre Musik ist kathartisch und kompro misslos: jede Wendung ein Sturz, jeder Break eine Entladung, jeder Schrei ein Warnsignal.

Soastasphrenas sind keine Band zum Nebenbei-Hören. S ie sind ein Erlebnis, das dich zerlegt und neu zusammensetzt.

Bymyside tränken Leid, Wut und Ve rzweiflung in das Innehalten, das Wiederaufstehen und die zarte Hoffnung, nicht wieder in den freien Fall zu stürzen.
 Schnelle, sägende Klänge tref fen auf unterschwellige Melodien, die an die Oberfläche gespült werden – d azwischen eine Atmosphäre, die so viel von der Essenz des italienischen Sc reamos in sich trägt. OMG, diese Band schafft es, das wilde Herz des Genre s in einer Weise zu entfalten, die dich mit jeder Note ergreift und gleich zeitig zerreißt.

„Affogare, risalire, ricadere“ – ertrinken, aufsteh en und wieder hinfallen.

Ihre Musik scheint die ewige Bewegung einer Existenz zu beschreiben, die zwischen einer langsam und unaufhaltsam verb lassenden Vergangenheit und einer getrübten sowie hoffnungslosen Zukunft b alanciert.

the inspiration for the festival were o ur thoughts about the changing cultural landscape, the loss of beloved spa ces and times, but also the promising spark of a brighter future, which ca n be formed and spent together with good friends. being rooted in a DIY co ntext and having an idea of how things might be apart from the grinding br ainrot of commercialization, we decided to combine this with our love of p assionate and harsh hardcore music. danse macabre formed all these feeling s into words back in 2002:

Im Wasser create a web of profound post -rock that floats in melancholic expanses, interspersed with intense screa mo outbursts whose partly spoken-word vocals allow for a dialog between de spair and hope.

In addition to the constant emptiness and the waveri ng of this very fragile hope, Im Wasser create a special intensity that fo rces us to pause, reflect, let go, give up and persevere together.

The quintet from Modena is exemplary of a new tide of Italian screamo bands that touch with raw intensity and e motional depth. Fast, rushing meet with playful, almost fragile moments. T he Italian-language vocals reinforce the urgency of their music - immediat e, intense and full of vulnerability. Music that does not remain at a dist ance, but drills right into the heart. A hole in the chest - and yet so mu ch feeling inside.

Yay, finally a ba nd with a long name again. That says it all. Almost. IPSSTYSICDIIFOTM from Leipzig play skramz with a typically raw sound and are strongly reminisce nt of scene heroes like Your Arms Are My Cocoon. With their debut album re leased last February, which is bursting with scene charm, we have a very y oung band with us, whose lyrics are sung, shouted and nagged in a total of 6 different languages. Their music is an intense and captivating weave of pain and hope that constantly raises the question of one's own meaning in the endless whirl of the world. live - laugh - love.
